Walk among the machines that carried Allied forces to victory

The Vehicles That Won the War

We maintain one of the largest operational WWII vehicle collections in the country.

Each vehicle has been painstakingly restored and preserved. Several are fully operational for our annual living history events and vehicle ride experiences. Visitors are welcome to get close, examine the details, and imagine what it was like to ride into battle aboard these legendary machines.

Sherman Tank

1942–1945

Sherman Tank

The backbone of Allied armored divisions, the Sherman saw action from North Africa to the heart of Germany. Known for its reliability and versatility, the Sherman offered superior firepower and a smoother, more dependable ride for its crew in the final push across Europe.

1942 Ford GPW Jeep

1941–1945

1942 Ford GPW Jeep

Affectionately called the workhorse of the war, the Willys MB and Ford GPW Jeep served in every theater. Known as the 'vehicle that won the war,' these rugged 1/4-ton 4x4s carried generals, medics, and soldiers across every battlefield. We display multiple variants, including a command configuration.

M3A1 Halftrack

1940–1945

M3A1 Halftrack

This versatile armored personnel carrier transported infantry across the rugged terrain of Europe and the Pacific. Part truck, part tank, the Halftrack's unique design offered both speed and protection — carrying infantry, towing artillery, and supporting countless missions. Our halftrack has been carefully restored to running condition.

GMC CCKW 2½-Ton Truck

1941–1945

GMC CCKW 2½-Ton Truck

Known as the 'Deuce and a Half,' this truck was the logistical lifeline of the Allied advance. Over 560,000 were produced during the war, hauling troops, fuel, and supplies across continents. Our GMC CCKW carries its original cargo bed and canvas top — a testament to the industrial might that kept every front line supplied.

1942 Ford GPW 'Follow Me Jeep'

1942–1945

1942 Ford GPW 'Follow Me Jeep'

The iconic 'Follow Me' Jeep guided aircraft on airfields across every theater of operations. Fitted with a checkered flag and signal equipment, these specialized Jeeps were essential to flight operations. Our restored example captures the distinctive markings and equipment that made it instantly recognizable on the tarmac.

M26A1 Pacific 'Dragon Wagon'

1943–1945

M26A1 Pacific 'Dragon Wagon'

The M26 Pacific was the heavy hauler of the Allied forces — a massive tank transporter capable of recovering and moving damaged vehicles from the battlefield. Known as the 'Dragon Wagon,' this 12-ton tractor could tow loads of up to 40 tons, making it indispensable for logistics in both the European and Pacific theaters.
