Attention: an important update on postponement of the Battle of the Bulge conference, scheduled for January 25, 2026, at the World War II American Experience museum, in Gettysburg, PA.
We regret to inform you that due to inclement weather forecasts of an impending major snowstorm, coupled with sustained freezing temperatures, the planned third annual Battle of the Bulge conference on January 25th is now postponed to a later date. This action is being undertaken out of an abundance of caution for the safety and well-being of all those planning to participate in our all-day event, which is intended to keep alive the history of America’s greatest land battle and honor the World War II veterans who fought the Battle of the Bulge.
We are currently working to determine a new conference date, likely to be about a month from now, with details to follow. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you, and we greatly appreciate your understanding of why we are taking this prudent action. We will notify all registered participants once the new conference date has been set.
In addition, the museum’s own program, Tank Talk, originally scheduled for Saturday, January 24, 2026, has also been postponed due to the same weather concerns. Tank Talk will be rescheduled to take place during the same weekend as the rescheduled Battle of the Bulge Conference, with updated details to be shared soon.
(Please remember to cancel out any hotel reservations in the Gettysburg area, which you no longer need for this weekend, including those made at the Best Western Gettysburg Hotel.)
