Learn about Flotilla 10 , a task force of landing craft infantry, or LCI, manned entirely by Coast Guard personnel. The Flotilla delivered infantry and combat engineers on D- Day and took extensive casualties in both men and vessels while doing so.

All proceeds from the sale of books sold go to the Foundation for Coast Guard History. The Commandant of the Coast Guard during WWII was Adm. Russell Waesche of nearby Thurmont, MD, where he was born and raised.
