World War II Weekend

Step back into the 1940s during our annual World War II Weekend, presented in partnership with the Eisenhower Farm in Gettysburg.

Throughout the weekend, guests can experience special WWII-themed programming at the museum, including tank rides and additional activities to be announced. Across town at the Eisenhower Farm, living history interpreters and reenactors bring the World War II era to life — creating a fully immersive experience across both historic sites.

The highlight of the weekend is our beloved WWII USO-Style Dance, held in the museum’s Motor Pool. Each year, reenactors and visitors alike gather for an evening of swing music, vintage attire, and 1940s atmosphere reminiscent of the home front during wartime.
